Welcome to the Entry Gate of The Medicine Bow Lodge, at the end of the road, part of the Original Oregon Trail!

If you fly into Denver International Airport and rent a car, it will be a three hour drive, due north into the Wyoming Mountains to reach Medicine Bow Lodge.  Conversely, if you take the Coach to Cheyenne, one of the owners will drive you to the Medicine Bow Lodge, one and one half hours due North of Cheyenne, WY.

 

More exact descriptions/location will be as follows:  14 miles West by Northwest, from Wheatland, Wyoming ... and/or Nine miles west of the freeway, and four miles up a private, dirt road - well maintained year round.  Name of the road is Oregon Trail (part of the original Oregon Trail) and said road dead ends at the Lodge gate.

 

For wonderful fishing and/or boating, you have access to the huge Glendo Reservoir Lake, as well as the big, strong, North Platte River.  Either waterway is about 30 minutes from Medicine Bow Lodge.
